We like to think that The Mitre is quite an unusual hotel for the likes of Manchester city centre. For starters we’re situated in one of the oldest buildings in the city; its origins can be traced back hundreds of years and we’re delightfully quaint. What’s also quite unusual for a lovely hotel so centrally located is that we’re surprisingly cheap! However, we have come across some hotels from around the world that REALLY are unusual. I mean, they blow us out of the park on that front!

Upon first inspection this hotel may not seem out of the ordinary however, this is the world’s first revolving hotel. Yes, you read that right. This innovative hotel gives its guests a different view as it completes a full 360 degree turn several times a day!
One for the dog lovers, this Beagle themed hotel was created by chainsaw artists and can sleep up to four guests at a time. The toilet is even disguised a fire hydrant. It’s definitely different!
