As you will know by now, the team here at The Mitre are chronically incapable of passing up any opportunity that could present a good laugh, which is probably why a raucous of cheer erupted in our office when we were told TV funny man Harry Hill was coming to town.
Born Matthew Keith Hall on 1 October 1964, Hill is said to be the cornerstone of the British Comedian circuit. But did you know it wasn’t always all hoots and howls for the beloved comedian? Nope. Hill was in fact from a very sombre occupational background, before he drifted into the world of entertainment, and worked as a junior doctor in the Doncaster Royal Infirmary. As a former doctor, Hill had trained in Neurosurgery at the University of London before he quit the medical profession. He later cited that his drastic career change was due to him ‘not feeling in control of what was happening’. However all that changed for Harry, as he can now control where i buy viagra hoards and hoards of people by keeping them in fits of laughter.
Harry Hill will be gracing Manchester with his presence on Wednesday the 20th and will be staying with us ‘til the end of his final show on Thursday the 21st.
