Two Weeks Until Christmas

James Arthur won X Factor 2012 and celebrated with his fellow contestants in Manchester over the weekend, which was a star studded occasion. We’re pretty sure we saw Nicole Scherzinger paying a visit to the Manchester Markets too… Now this year’s X Factor has finished, it means one thing…Christmas Day will be here in less than two weeks (we’re trying hard not to scream like Buddy the Elf with excitement), where we’ll be getting ready to eat ourselves into a food coma! Here are a few Manchester key dates to keep an eye on.

·         Classical singer Andre Rieu will also be live on stage on 13th December. Don’t forget we’re just a 2 minute walk away from the arena, so pop down The Mitre for some hot, homemade meals and drinks!

·         Disney’s The Lion King has finally arrived in Manchester after the long anticipating wait! The live theatre performance will be at The Place Theatre until 30th April 2013. Tickets are selling like hot cakes as you can imagine, so book fast to avoid disappointment.

·         Manchester’s Christmas Panto, Peter Pan starring the legendary David Hasseloff aka “The Hoff” as Captain Hook is currently being shown at The Opera House until 13th January 2013.
