It’s that glorious time of year again; the sun is smiling down on us, flowers are in full bloom, cheerfulness just seems to be infectious and to top it off the St. George’s Day Parade starts tomorrow!
Kicking off in Albert square tomorrow (Friday the 19th of April) the festival is set to last ‘til Sunday 21st April. The carnival will begin in full swing with the market and stalls which will be formally opened by our very own Lord Mayor, Councillor Elaine Boyes. With performances showcasing the talents of various choirs, poets, bands, dancers infused with the stalls, displays and inflatable, such as bouncy castles, provided by JBL this year’s St. George’s day parade is set to be the most spectacular yet! Be sure not to miss it!
