In the early 80’s, Andrew Lloyd Webber defined a generation when the whimsical styles of T.S. Elliot’s Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats became the inspiration behind his soon to be legendary musical, Cats.
Cats headlined at London’s prestigious West End theatre in 1981 and went on to cement a seat for itself in Broadway history as the second longest running and highest grossing show ever. Cats has been performed worldwide in over 20 languages and has recently undergone transformation for a silver screen version of the hit musical.
And today, the ground breaking musical has finally arrived in Manchester!
