The Mitre Christmas Menu launch
November is finally here, and our delivery of festive menus has come! As of November 9th, we will have a truly delicious festive menu to choose from.
Inspired by the Christmas Markets, that sit beautifully on our doorstep, The Mitre is offering a full menu of festive delights!
Each menu item has been created with culinary finesse by the head chef, especially for the winter of 2018. The menu will offer amazing baguettes, hot dogs, burgers and stews to warm your bones in this chilly weather.
We’re particularly proud of our vegan option – sweet potato, spinach & butter bean stew, cooked with tomatoes and spices finished with fresh herbs. The mouth-watering stew is served with pickled red cabbage and a warm crusty roll to leave you feeling full up, warm and cosy this winter.
Our festive platter is another favourite for Christmas – back by overwhelming demand. The yearly demand for festive platter each year could have people queueing to the North Pole – the famous platter comes with breaded brie wedges, mini pigs in blankets, duck and orange pâté, breaded garlic mushrooms, tempura king prawns, selection of cured meats and is served with a selection of dips and warm crusty bread on the side. A gourmet challenge for one or a tasty nibbler for a group to share.
We’ll also be offering a selection of speciality hot drinks including the classic and intensely flavoured mulled wine and Irish coffees. Hot softs available will be festive hot chocolate with cream, marshmallows and a shot of syrup of your choice because we know Christmas is the time to really indulge.
The festive menu will run alongside our standard main menu to give it our usual favourites a festive complement!
