Pop giants play Manchester’s Etihad
You’ve been hysterical with excitement, you’ve got your tickets and you’re now going overboard digging out all your best band merch and nostalgic outfits from the 90’s (you can definitely still fit into them) so what else is there left to do before you see Spice Girls or Take That? Or both!?
Take That are scheduled to play Manchester Arena in April 2019 with five massive dates from Monday 22nd through to Saturday 27th (excluding Wednesday the 24th.)
You’ll want to plan your trip because Manchester is always hectic when there’s a huge event on and internal pop stars – Take That – will be no exception on the tour to celebrate their 30th anniversary!
Know before you go! If you’re travelling from out of town you’ll want to book any travel in advance and contact anybody you know who lives in Manchester as a back-up plan.
Trains in and out of Manchester can be especially busy during these times so it could be a good idea for you to consider booking some accommodation instead. There are several hotels, bars and restaurants in the centre of Manchester to choose from so do your research and pick somewhere that’s right for you.
The Mitre is just a five-minute walk from Manchester Arena making us the closest hotel to the gig venue, right in the heart of Manchester. We offer a bar area, food served from 11:00am ‘til 8:00pm and breakfast served in the morning from 7:30am-10:30am (free for residents when you quote code M1TRE upon booking.)
Spice Girls fans you’ll be heading to the Etihad Stadium (The Manchester City football team’s home ground) which is out of the City Centre. There are excellent transport links by tram from Victoria Station which adjoins onto Manchester Arena, making us the closest hotel to the most efficient transport links to the stadium.
If you’re planning to explore the city or you’re just coming for the show we guarantee you’ll have an excellent time in Manchester! If there’s anything you’d like to know about the hotel or Exchange Square you can always call us on 0161 834 4128 – we’ll be happy to help!
